Product Description

SL cross slider coupling has a simple structure and a long usage history. It allows for significant radial relative displacement and transmitted torque, but due to the presence of an intermediate slider, it has a large starting inertia and cannot be used at high speeds. Generally, the shaft speed does not exceed 300r/min.

The two half couplings each have radial grooves. When there is relative radial displacement between the two shaft axes being connected, the tenon of the cross slider can slide in its corresponding groove. Due to wear at the cross groove, the transmission efficiency is reduced.
