JMIIJ type intermediate shaft type diaphragm coupling compensates for the relative displacement of the two connected shafts by the elastic deformation of the diaphragm. It is a metal elastic element flexible coupling that does not require lubrication, has a compact structure, long service life, no rotational clearance, and is not affected by temperature and oil pollution. It is suitable for shaft transmission in high-temperature, high-speed, and corrosive medium working environments, and is widely used in shaft transmission of various mechanical devices, High speed power transmission systems, such as water pumps (especially high-power and chemical pumps), fans, compressors, hydraulic machinery, petroleum machinery, printing machinery, textile machinery, chemical machinery, mining machinery, metallurgical machinery, aviation (helicopters), and ships, have been widely used in high-speed transmission shaft systems after dynamic balancing.
The JMIIJ type intermediate shaft type diaphragm coupling is composed of several sets of diaphragms (stainless steel thin plates) connected to two halves of the coupling by bolts in a staggered manner. Each set of diaphragms is composed of several stacked pieces, and the coupling diaphragms are divided into connecting rod type and whole piece type with different shapes.
